Adult film actress Sophia Leone was found dead in her New Mexico home on March 1. Nearly six months later, Albuquerque police have confirmed that her death was due to an accidental overdose.
Initial reports indicated that authorities considered Leone’s death to be “suspicious” and “unique” upon discovering her body. Her mother informed police that Leone had struggled with heavy drinking and suicidal thoughts. There were no signs of physical trauma, and the specific substances involved in the overdose remain unclear.
At 26 years old, Leone was well-known in the industry, having worked with prominent studios such as Brazzers, Reality Kings, and Evil Angel, and appearing in over 150 films.
