Trisha Meyer, an OnlyFans model known as 'Texas Zookeeper,' was arrested for wildlife trafficking after being implicated in the sale of a jaguar cub named Amador. The cub was passed between drug dealers and Meyer before being abandoned at a San Diego animal sanctuary, malnourished and in poor condition.
Meyer, 42, initially gained fame on Instagram with her account, 'Mimiseroticworld,' where she posted scantily clad photos alongside exotic animals. In April 2021, she sold Amador to Abdul 'Mannie' Rahman, a California drug dealer, because the cub had become too aggressive for her to handle. Amador's loud roars often disturbed the entire neighborhood, and he consumed a substantial amount of raw meat, akin to a tiger's diet. Just over a year later, both were indicted by federal prosecutors.
Before her arrest, Meyer sold various exotic animals from her Texas home, where laws on pet ownership are notably lax. Today, Amador has found a safe and loving home, far from the neglect he once endured.
