During a interview on Harry Jowsey's 'Tap In' podcast, Rhoades recounted her brief yet impactful stint in the industry. Moving to Los Angeles enticed by agent promises, Rhoades' life on camera unfolded over eight months, until a pivotal encounter shifted her trajectory.
Meeting a YouTuber earning "$15,000 for posting a photo with a Jeep" sparked realization for Rhoades. Questioning her choices, comparing her $1,200 payment for adult scenes to the lucrative world of social media influence, she expressed during the podcast, "I get $1,200 to do this nasty sex scene, why the hell am I doing this?"
This epiphany led Rhoades to pivot, building her brand as an influencer. However, her adult industry fame continued to haunt her, propelling her to the top of search rankings on platforms like Pornhub. Despite increased Instagram follower interest in her adult film work, financial gains eluded Rhoades. Lamenting her lack of control over her past content, she stated, "So, Pornhub, many of the videos I don't have rights to or otherwise I probably would have deleted them all by now."
When asked about regrets, Rhoades didn't hesitate to express her desire to reclaim her dignity and respect. "Yes, I really tell people that, if I could go back, I would give up everything to have my dignity and respect back and so people couldn't see me in that way," she admitted.
