A Georgia mom, Abbie Newman, gained significant earnings after her mugshot, stemming from a shoplifting arrest, went viral on the Internet.
Newman, 28, spent four days in jail for the incident at a Walmart in Atlanta last November. Following her release, her mugshot attracted attention, leading curious followers to discover her OnlyFans account. Subscriptions surged, resulting in substantial income. Newman, who faced a troubled past, opened her OnlyFans in 2021, sharing explicit content, including solo videos with her fiancé, amid her challenging history involving sexual abuse, heroin addiction, and borderline personality disorder.
“My OnlyFans spiked,” the shoplifter enthused in an interview with South West News Service. “The first time I logged back on I had made $24k in a week when I hadn’t even posted anything!”
“It’s funny how life works,” she added. “In America, for some reason if you look good and you’re a criminal, you make money.”
