LOS ANGELES — Ron Jeremy is currently under the protection of a probate conservatorship, which was initiated following a January 2023 ruling by a Los Angeles judge, who deemed him unfit to stand trial in relation to multiple allegations of sexual assault and rape.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office has confirmed the establishment of the conservatorship on Wednesday. They have also indicated that a reevaluation of Jeremy's situation is scheduled for later this month.
In previous coverage by XBIZ, it was noted that Jeremy's sister, Susan Billotte, filed a formal petition in March requesting the judge to appoint attorney Ellen Finkelberg as Jeremy's conservator. The purpose of this request was to grant Finkelberg the authority to manage decisions regarding the former adult performer's financial affairs and healthcare.
It's important to note that despite Jeremy's advanced age and reportedly suffering from dementia, recent unsettling comments from a jail spokesperson have generated controversy. The spokesperson claimed that Jeremy still experiences strong erections and consistently displays a high level of sexual desire. These statements have added another layer of complexity to an already sensitive and complex situation.
